*My Imaginary Friend*

Poetry By: angelmona

i Know this poem is short...probably not one of my best, but the meaning of it is much more important to me than how good or long the poem it self is.

I'm not crazy or anything

but I do have an imaginary friend

she needs me and I need her

my mind we both share

She calls me Mona, I call her Heather

we both belong to each other

when she's feeling helpless

I'll stand by her and pull her out of this mess

when she's feeling blue

and thinks her pain grew

I'll give her a red rose

and tell her how much love this shows

when she's sad and wants to cry

I'll lend her my shoulder and her tears I'll dry

when she feels lonely and gets colder

I'll give her a hug till she feels snug

I'll be here waiting for her for when she needs me

I'll sit in a flower just like a bee

and I'll wait for her to call my name

there she is, there she came

I'm not crazy or anything

but i do have an imaginary friend.
