Blowing smoke
wisps weightlessly
as fiery embers meet their death between my lips,
the cold catches my breath
with both hands,
blowing air
into empty palms,
clutching warmth by the fingernails
as the wind has it's way with me
icey breath pounding my chest,
blowing flames
simmer slowly,
my heart starts to thaw
as i wait,
for the moon to kiss daylight.
