my mind writes every day
lucid, powerful, evocative stuff
roar of traffic through my brain
whirlwinds of passion, happiness
sorrow…
betwixt the brain and the pen
stilts and stumbles
withers away….
Maybe tomorrow…?

Thanks matmoo for your comment, a poem that is not really a poem but says something others can empathise with.

Yes too many emotions to choose from maybe. swing and sway, with the la da da duldrums of the brain LOL!
no, but it's good just to keep feeling some days cause it's like the tides are low you know? and maybe they will surface tomorrow. thanks Anna*****katie

Thanks so much Jerry. Glad you enjoyed this.

Very good poem. Words whiz by my head all the time, emotions, and I think, 'What am I to write?' Tomorrow, tomorrow...It's always tomorrow.

MA thanks for comment. I write a poem in my head sometimes whilst walking but when I get home and try to write it down some of it has dissappeared! (LOL)

"my mind writes every day" , This happen to me all the time in my life. Great poem.

Thanks Itsuwari I think most writers have these feelings often or once in a while at least. I was "writing" during my walk today - what will happen when I begin to "transalate"?

Could almsot be dicussing my brain at 6am in the mornings and I start to write. Good work.

You are wonderful to be writing at 6am! I often "write" when I find the time to walk! (maybe a tape recorder??)
