I am from family gatherings, hope, and love,
from perserverance, strength, and intellegence
I am from the street of Lawrence, Massachusetts,
four years of kin.
Seperated without a choice or say,
but full of adoration in a family way.
I am from sports, athletes,
a grandfather who's memories are now dim.
All of us remember the games, except for him.
I am from sadness and confusion,
tension in each vein.
Problem solving, solutions, driving you insane.
I am from yearly vacations.
Myrtle Beach with ocean views.
Spending dollar after dollar,
now leaving us with very few.
I am from a fear
of animal attacks.
Now accepting the truth,
I am in love with cats.
I am from memories,
right and wrong.
Yet all of them now
have made me so strong.
