My Poem To You (2)

The heart speaks so many things at once

At times I don’t understand what it’s trying to say

But ever since the very first day

It’s told me to stay

To stay by your side, throughout the good and bad

I’ll support your every thought

My heart is the one you caught

And with this I know I ought

To be the one who catches you when you fall

I swear I’ll do my best and give you my all

I’ll hold you in my arms when you are weak

To me, this is what my heart speaks

I just wish I could help you see

That you are truly special to me

Every beat that my heart takes

Is a beat for your sake

When I hold you in my arms

I never want to let go

And I just want to let you know

That I am with you, wherever you may go

Although I can’t tell what else my heart may want to say

I know I’ll be with you every step of the way

Walking hand in hand

Till the very end.
