Something Larger

The winds of scorn,
Meet once again,
On this road,
Less Traveled;

Beneath the evils,
Justice reigns,
Hope shows,
Ever shining;

For to the supreme,
Our lives must answer,
Our actions,
Repented soon;

But to this power,
What do we say,
When harm has chipped away,
The smile that once lay acrossed this face;

For our lives we do now pay,
On this path dark and long,
but to this power what do we say,
He being forever strong.
