I found this on a piece of paper the other day while cleaning my room...apparently I wrote it when I was very little...figured I'd post it here and see what you guys thought. Suggestions welcome; I'd like to develop this into an actual poem. It's not finished. Credit will be given appropriately.

You tell me only lies

When I ask for a reason

Why against my heart you would devise

A plan to commit treason

I can only hope that you will see

The pain and anguish you cause me

And put an end to all the flames

Which between you and I remains
