The Heart and the Hourglass

Poetry By: Argetlam

The mirror shows the heart, the heart erases the darkness, where now can the truth hide?

The heart seeks the love,

The love stabs the heart,

The heart shrieks in fear,

The pain grows ever near.

The heart seeks the hope,

The hope hides the pain,

The pain pushes through,

The hourglass turns over.

The heart seeks a friend,

The friend leaves the heart,

The heart cries out in pain,

The hourglass turns over again.

The heart feals the pain,

The pain makes it weak,

The weakness overtakes,

The hourglass runs out.
