Dandelion Dragon

Poetry By: aria aiedail

I looked out the window and had to look twice, i found myself staring at a tiny creature on the other side of the yard. Although i was mistaken at first i decided it'd be good material.

Dandelion Dragon

Sitting on the edge of a black landscape,

The Dandelion Dragon's ready for escape,

It's leafy wings are not spread for the sky,

But standing ready for their very first fly,

It's yellow head swaying back and forth,

Waiting for a wind that flew towards the north,

Before this Dandelion Dragon was a cliff,

A deep crevice only a human would miss,

The lines of cement are his canyons,

The grass yard is his never ending jungle,

The tall brick walls are his the limits of the world,

As the Dandelion Dragon stands with his wings unfurled.
