Never to come past her wall of safety again,

Ruined the life she had,

Happiness has left her forever.

It started with a bruise,

And a scratch here and there,

Inside and out.

Her heart is broken,

And her eyes are swollen from crying.

She thought you loved her,

Because she loved you,

With her now useless heart.

Her heart beat just for you,

But you just beat her.

She lived for you,

But you used her.

And what started out small

Became something more.

Something dark,

And something that brought pain.

Insanity and destruction.

She is scarred,

And you don’t care.

She scared to face what she is inside,

And afraid to become the person she was.

And left her for dead.

Permanently,

By your carelessness,

How could you?

She falling apart,

Because you were what kept her together,

And you gave her a painful memory,

To keep reminding her,

So it never fades away,

And it's making her numb.

Yet she is still trying to forgive you,

After all you have done to her,

The hitting and the abusive words.

You feel no shame,

You have no regrets,

And you had no mercy.

And you let her blame herself,

Even though she already feels hopeless enough.

Though all this sadness,

And this black out,

Even though she is scarred,
