It was you

Who boasted of a love,

A passion so great

That heaven would bow,

And so would the entire universe!

After all my years of solitude

It was you,

Who showed me hope

Swept me off my feet

By your showcase of false affection!

I was flying with my new found wings

When you realized you weren't done

On that dark, pouring night

You left me for dead,

When you knew you had won!

You had found a new girl

Another life to poison,

Oh your unholy blood

I could see it happening all over again

One more life going to burn!

I took off the mourning clothes

I was shocked to see an armour,

It was hidden beneath my inner crust

I shoved a blade, right into your chest

That was your end, I laid you to rest!
