Oath To Dreams

Poetry By: ashpulse

A testament by a man to his dreams hoping his dreams will come true. The voice contemplates his dreams becoming reality, although he believes it will never happen, he continues to graft using his imagination as motivation. His dream come true and his fantasies intertwined into a world where he cannot survive unless he delves into his imagination and dreams. He owes his thoughts so he writes an oath to dreams.

A soothing voice is hard to embrace
When you feel undeserved of its grace
The sweetness of her fruit is hard to taste
From guilt embedded within your shame
Lies upon lies built your heavenly estate
For her to enjoy and believe that her fate
Lie within your lies and truth distorted
And reality is a scenery she surely hates
So we sit and imagine a hopeful dream
As dreams are surely better than what awaits
