Love and Sex

Love can be sexy,
Sex can be lovely.
Having sex so often,
Called making love.
There is intimacy with love,
Not always so with sex.
Love is a joining of hearts,
Sex is a joining of flesh.
In love magic spirits flow,
In sex bodily juices flow.
Love is compassionate emotion,
Sex a selfish pleasure.
Love a spiritual bonding,
Sex a lustful bonding.
Both satisfying in different ways
Both fragile and delicate.
Love satisfies the soul,
Sex satisfies an urge.
Love lingers on,
Sex often fleeting.
Love is pleasing the other,
Sex is pleasing yourself.
Love is emotional,
Sex is physical.
Love is compassion and affectionate.
Sex is intercourse and outercourse.
Love is a relationship.
Sex often an affair.
Love is feeling with your heart,
Sex is feeling with your body.
Love is emotional unity,
Sex is physical unity
.
