Tip of my tongue
By: Joe Attanasio
I will never forget good old “what’s her name?”
We always played that game
She lived on “What street was that?”
I thought I had it down pat
Well anyways you know who I mean
She always created such a scene
I remember the day she said…
Hmmm I can picture it in my head
She had a dog named “wait don’t tell me”
You know on the oak tree it always peed
On Saturday mornings we watched that show
The one with the thee guys, you know..
And of course his horse named “let me think”
You know… wait, it is right on the brink..
And that cowboy with the special gun
His name is on the tip of my tongue
