Surprised? You might be

Plain writing of any kind

Is how it is defined

All writing without flow

Just so you know!

All stories are prose

Except poetry, that’s how it goes

This writing I compose

Is certainly not prose

It has rhythm and rhyme

It keeps a certain time

Just setting the matter straight

For all you who create

Many people think poetry and prose

Are the same, a juxtapose

I wanted to spread the news

So the myth would not confuse
