Crying in the corner,
I can see you sweetie,
If no one's lookin,
Remember I'm still here,
Always listenin to you read,
To me like I was really there,
If no one can see the cuts,
And they don't stop you,
I'm here,
The bugs and the butterflies,
The chocolate milk with cinnamon,
In the house by the fireplace,
I'm here for you,
When you're ready to come home,
To swing on the swing set in the dark,
To read silly stories,
Even the serious ones,
Just remember who you're leavin behind,
Who will you sadden when you come,
I'm here to kiss the pain,
Watch you when you sleep,
To go to your favorite grocery store,
And set you those carts you like so much...
I love you dad.
