Love overwhelms; exhilarates and exasperates;
can be sweet; other times it can exacerbate;
memories of its sting; left in ruin heart broken;
a million tears and fears; words untruly spoken.
Emotions running gambit; joy to disillusion;
thoughtsclear; then to chaos and confusion.
It's spell we confess; our feelings run extreme;
love seeks us in sleep; with shameless lusty dream.
It can lift us up; or send us crashing onhard ground;
Love’s voice can scream aloud; or never make a sound.
We seek its embrace; addicted to its complicated song;
lures us in with its promise; that nothing can go wrong.
Even if we love and lose; it’s better than not knowing;
rush of adrenaline; that comes when love is growing.
Like a child on a Ferris-wheel; enjoy the ride my friend;
and hope with all your might; this love will never end.
It’s the best thing life offers us; in world filled with pain;
where love is sorely missing;none left singrefrain.
Itis fickle; sometimes fleeting; but worth it even so.
Find love; hold on tight; bask in its enchanting glow!
