If you’re pretty on the inside, but ugly on the out;
You’re still beautiful to me; of that have no doubt.
If you’re ugly on the inside and pretty on the out;
I must say your beauty is for me in serious doubt.
~~~~~
I’ve known both kinds of people; and it’s very true;
you can’t have true beauty if it’s not inside of you.
A kind heart and its compassion is seen as a virtue;
from a heart self centered; does its ugliness spew.
~~~~~
You can have both and that’s a plus; good for you;
if only outside beauty have; then reflection’s due.
Not in a mirror will that beauty find; so get a clue;
outer beauty fades; while inner is fresh as dew.
