The Second Virgin Mother

He was hidden in a world serene
Kept secret from it's thoughts of malice
Raised not by wolves, but by machine
Knowing naught of thoughts obscene
The modern Wonderland's new Alice.

His world invaded in the night's glow
By one with thirst for knowledge
Seeking what machine might show
To share what intruder wants to know
From life's eternal struggling college

But now is not the time to learn
But is the time for two to duel
As fingers flash, and headlamps burn
As indoor rain the tires spurn
And egos fan the fuel.

The Virgin's fingers on ancient keys
Work fast a secret to unearth
As he of many untold mysteries
And further unsaid histories
In silence does give birth.
