War Is Hard To Write

How does a person write a war
When that war’s never been
When there’s no veteran to ask
No action that’s been seen?
How does one write a strategy
For a plan never commenced
And make it sound believable
In ways that would convince?
Some of the soldiers have been writ
Some ideas not much more
So once again I ask to you
How does one write a war?
