The world today is one big mess,
such pointless rules we must address,
to hope, to dream, is but a crime,
"To be, Or not to be" is just a line.
To love, to care is frowned upon,
For Romeo and Juliet were devil spawned,
the truth today is laughed upon,
lies and deciet are often crowned.
To be yourself is seldom done,
from our true reflections, we often run,
each day we play, the game of life,
searching invain beyond our strife.
Today we live as caricutures,
controlled by what we see around us,
like puppets dangling from a string,
to the tune of hate, we all but sing.
We are enslaved by all our doubts,
The empty ideals we cling to and spout.
Alas, "society" is a single word,
Representing the only hell on earth.
