Captive

Shackled, held captive, this monsters embrace for me
Sorrow spreads with such fury, the virus, my heart
Perception holds psyches, relevance, lies lead me
Desires spread, tormentors trapped, my mind, the prison
Evil is captivity, monsters, hold my heart
Reality grasps souls, like a vice, my captor

Love.

Great. I like that it was divided into short phrases. Everyone is captive to something. Very true. Good job.

Thanks zia I had an intention to somewhat go for a surprise ending of sense you could say. I wanted the poem to seem very dark filled with lament that lingers. Then this dark captor that holds me is my love. I'm glad you like it and I will keep writing thanks again. I wish I could put hearts but it won't let me darn it. HEART :) Cheers
