Faith
Remorse is more than lacking
Hearts sustain more than life
This is not a world without
Faith
A fresh coat of my blood paints the floor
I bleed out for my desires again
Flashes of inspiration
Holding my loves dear
I rid myself of all fear
With faith nothing is feared
With faith death is always near
Martin Luther King Jr.
Abraham Lincoln
John F. Kennedy
Joan of Arc
With faith they lived so bold
Faith brought their stopwatch to a halt
A true life worth living
Is a life in which you will die for something
May faith
Kill me.

This is a very interesting poem B Leaf.
It is very descriptive and it also has a strong backing to it that really sinks deep. Lovely work man!

Hello,
i really liked this. You portrayed your sentiments beautifully. You have such talent Bleaf, never doubt it for a moment lol. The people you mentioned have indeed died believing in their causes they died but their ideals are still alive. They will live on in the hearts and minds of all people till time immemorial. Yes indeed faith did lead to their death, but it also gave them immortality.

Hey B Leaf,
I really enjoyed this poem...it was simple and not too wordy...kind of like my own style. I hope you continue to live by faith...great job and keep writing, you are really good! :) Warmest regards....Zia

Very interesting poem, I like it alot. It's simple but it gets down to the heart of things in just a few words. And I agree with you 100% because life is not lived if one does not have something to live for, and by that life, something to die for.
I wish you well in your journey of faith friend, maybe we'll see each other when our journeys are over huh?
Peace. :)
