Frustrated World

Poetry By: BandGeek4EVR

This is something I wrote this morning. I got some bad news that crushed some hopes I had given myself. I wanted to audition for all district band but I wasn't told I had to sign up till it was a month late. I blame my director for assuming I wasn't auditioning only because I wasn't in the highest band class, his favorite band. It's only when I wrote this poem that I felt better because I took my anger out in the poem.
This was posted on my ipod. So sorry if there are any mistakes grammatical or whatever.

Have you ever been so mad at something you wanted to stop where you were and just scream at the top of your lungs? Have you ever been so angry with someone you wanted to pull their hair out? Have you ever been so frustrated with the world you wanted to run off to some isolated island to get away from it all? The world can be a very cruel and mocking place. As soon as you get your hopes up, someone or something knocks them down and destroys them. The frustration and the anger in each of us is like a dark black hole lingering in space waiting for it's next victim. There is hatred, anger, and cruelty in the world around us, And as long as people don't accept each other for what they are, there always will be.
