Why do we sit at home doing nothing when some don't have a house to go to?
Why, when so little can make such a big difference, don't we give our spare change?
Why, when so many need someone, can't we give a helping hand?
But together we can help those who suffer.
Why, when we see someone fall, do we just keep walking?
Why, when we stop in front of someone next to the street with a sign, do we avoid eye contact?
But together we can change a life.
Next time I see a stray animal, I will pick it up and find it a good home.
Next time I see a hungry person, I will give them food and water.
Next time I see someone who needs a friend, I will give them a hug.
What will you do?
Will you help clean our waters?
Will you volunteer at your local homeless shelter?
Will you smile at the next person you see who is having a bad day?
You can make a difference with the little things you do each day.
Because together we can make a difference.
