A short poem about life

Sitting on the bus lost and alone

Someone on your left answers their phone

The blur of cityscapes rushing past by

Falling forward everything is a lie

Fences and fields wash past the tide

Reminds you of why you're on this ride

Only the soft lull of background noise leading the journey fore

Only you and nothing more
