The latest driftings of my imagination. Actually, this is a sort of prayer...a prayer come true. View table of contents...

Let it all fall away

Into the cold air,

The rushing wind

Lift me higher today

Up towards the blue sky,

The cotton clouds

Release all my burdens

Let them tumble

At the foot of the cross

Steal my pain and sorrow

Melt them into rain,

Refreshing and cool to my soul

Let it all fall away

As I bow down,

Humbled on my knees

Take me to the sunset

Show me the color of love

And let it all fall away

Another excellent and soulful poem. Beautiful.
