I like that hope can be eluding. You have your heart set so high, then to watch it go only in one direction. To proceed and try again makes you a winner.

Ouch. Can't find touch. Liked your poem, very much.Comments also made your mid sentence "without disappointment we have nowhere to go" clearer. It's the feeling you have of being trapped. I know it well. I hope there is somewhere to go. I don't want to feel this way over and over again.I can't stand it.

This touched my heart, I felt as if it were me.. because dont we all face hardships in life.. I cryed for months over an ex but one day i realized only i can change the hurt i could choose to let it ruin my days or i could beleive the saying all things happen for a reason and i choose to get up and finally let him go and move forward with my life..Very good poem its very true and to everyone.. Its your life, you only get one, dont waste a day in regret. :) Live it Love it

I don't really know what to say, but I can't stand NOT saying anything.

First off, this is really honest poem, one that is also written well.

We always search for perfection deep inside, not admitting to ourselves that's what we really aim for. We hide that desire by saying that no one is perfect.

It isn't wrong to try to be perfect. Just as long as you don't get lost in that need and step on others along the way. I think what's best is for us to accept our limitations and then work with them.

I like this poem. A lot. :) Wonderful work.
