The Girl in the Sky

Poetry By: becomingthenewgirl

This is a poem for Christian Taylor's competition. I really don't know exactly what it's about, but to me, it seems like that this girl is hurt and lost and doesn't want people to come yell at her for being the loner she is. PLEASE FAN ME!

So here I sit among clouds

Listening to the unwanted crowds.

For once I just want silence

I don't want my life to result in violence.

I want to feel my real worth

Whether it be plentiful or just a dearth.

Right now it seems like I'm fallen angel

Watching and waiting while I just feel shameful.

I will just sit in my eternal midnight

Never knowing if what I do is right.

So here I am, my head in hand

Feeling lost and only banned.

So here I sit among the skies

Listening to my unwanted lies.
