When you went away,
I was in great despair,
Thinking you would die,
Not ready to say good bye.

Not able to sleep, always awake,
Thinking of you, hoping you won't break.
I was terrified, prepared for the worst,
Thinking of you, but for what cost?

When you would come back,
I would be around the deck,
Not knowing what to say,
Thinking, hoping you were okay.

I'll never forget
When we first met,
We were walking by the sea,
Drinking a cup of tea.
---------------------------------
When you finally came, I saw you with her.
Smiling, laughing, I knew you met her before.
You made me cry,
But time flew by.
---------------------------------
When I was walking by the sea,
Knowing we didn't meant to be.
For I saw you with her
Everyday more, and more.
