Sitting in the dark
In a lonely, lonely park.
No one is near by,
No bird about to fly.
Oh, that lonely, lonely park.
-
Sitting on a bench
Looking for ways to change.
Not knowing what to do,
Wishing for a clue.
Oh, that lonely, lonely park.
-
No sound was about,
No one was around.
The river is so quiet,
As a sleeping giant.
Oh, that lonely, lonely park.
-
The moon is full and white
In that ghostly lonely night.
The stars are small and tiny,
So white, and shiny.
Oh, that lonely, lonely park.
