You've been gone for way to long
But well me, I've been holding strong
You never failed to make me think
Seeing your picture makes my heart sink
What we were to each other
The love we shared was like no other
But you left to fix your health
Thinking solely of yourself
How I wish you would have stayed
Just look at all we lost along the way
Those poems you wrote me I still keep
Our feelings back then were equally deep
But time has come and gone
And to you my heart no longer belongs
