Shoppers pass by on the Square

Christmas lights twinkle everywhere.

The music is joyful and gay

I'm counting down to another Christmas day.

Presents are under the tree

Some are for you, some for me.

Even though I'm older and grey

I'm looking forward to another Christmas day.

Despite the years, I'm just a kid at heart

I've relished Christmas from the start.

Jesus is the reason, I say.

I'm eagerly awaiting another Christmas day.

Carolers singing outside my door

Good will toward men, who could want for more?

Blessed I am, in every way

That's why I wait for yet another Christmas day.

Good tiding to you and your's

May your life be filled with blessing galore.

Merry Christmas to you, I say

God bless one and all on another Christmas day.

Thanks for capturing the magic of the Christmas season! It's fun to look back and remember as well as anticipating the Christmas to come. ALl the grey hair, balding spots and years adding up to the 'golden years' cannot destroy the magic Christmas!!! Jesus is the reason for the season!!! Thanks so much for sharing, Brian!!! (^_^)
