Letting Go
"You’ve got to let go Tracey”
"No you cant make me.”
"I wont force you but you know I am right,
"We cant hang around here all through the night.”
"Just hold onto me a little while longer,
then from your life I will disappear.”
"Our bond together will always be strong
we’ve known each other for far to long,
but now its time you must fly away.”
His lips touched mine and kissed me good bye.
We moved apart.
"Don’t let me go.”
To late.
I Fell
And Fell
And Fell
And FELL
SCREAMING
B O I N G
The bungee rope ,
reached its maximum stretchable length.
I gasped in a breath.
YIPPEE
I scream with unbelievable,
GLEE.
The bungee bounced me
up
then down
up
then down
up
then down
I did it.
Exaltation.
