A wish of Never Surrender

I wish the world could end tomorrow. I wish I could end my meaningless sorrow. I wish I could feel anything but the endless cold. I wish the world hadn't grown so old. I know what it's like to want to surrender. Looking like I'm fresh off a harsh drug bender. I wish I could change the course of today. Revurse the anger, keep the dismay at bay. Your friendship is the golden saving hand. Saving me from the insane untamed land. I can see now I still have much to learn. Sorrow to parchment then watch it burn. When you feel the pain don't give in. Asking for help is never a sin. Do what you must to survive yourself. Or end up ash on some old shelf.
