A Broken Race, by M-chan
What are we
If not broken, bent,
And shattered?
We are a cracked mirror,
Waiting to fall
Apart.
We are the blood spilling
In these tragic
Wars.
We are today’s
Ugly, torn,
And hateful race.
We kill,
We lie,
We steal.
We are the sinners,
The adulterers,
The arrogant.
It makes you wonder,
Why God
Didn’t scrap us
As a failed project.
Instead of throwing us
Away,
He kept us around.
He loved a bloody,
Broken,
Sorrowful,
Vile
Race.
