Innermost Thoughts, by M-chan

There are so many things to say.

Start now, I think I may.

I love you,

And that can't be anything but true.

Your smile illuminates the world,

My heart it's unfurled.

The way you treat me,

Puts the world in a new light to see.

Often I feel trapped within,

My song is that of a ghost violin.

Yet, you shine light into my guarded heart,

Open up, I might start.

When I'm all but forgotten,

You're the only one who doesn't treat me rotten.

I love you,

But this friendship is too good to be true.

You'll move on,

And I'll be left to sing my lonely song.

Often times, I wake at night,

Wondering how long it will be before you take flight.

Oh, how I love you so,

I wonder if you know.
