The Savior, by M-chan
Shadows dance across the sky,
Whispered words were all a lie.
Nazi promises are too good to be true,
So I guess we’re going down together, just me and you.
At least that’s what I once thought,
Then the famed savior I sought.
Liberation is in his hands,
He’ll help us escape from these nightmare lands
Oskar Schindler is his name,
A chance at liberty is his claim.
Is it too good to be true,
For both me and you?
Yet, we both know it in our hearts,
That Schindler is where our hope starts.
We must brave the risk ahead,
Or I fear more tears between us shed.
Shadows dance across the sky,
Whispered words were all a lie.
Fear not, though, the hero saves,
Our souls the Nazis will not raze.
