A whithered soul of a thousand miles
You press your palm against your cheek
The sun shines upon thy smile
This light emerges, strong inside, yet outside weak

A whithered heart of many storms
You sigh upon the world unknown
A tender touch of understanding, your frown to smile transforms
With the wind it runs, all delight that you have shown

A tattered smile grown so weak, a broken room it stains
With your emotions growing meak, you cry everytime it rains
It shines in the darkness, the one thing that you seek
From all the virtues and now smiles bleak, a longing glance remains

Yet the sun still shines upon thy smile
As you press your palm against your cheek
You're Dreaming of those bitter days, preparing, growing ever vile
Those eyes of yours sparkle bright, you forget, no longer dreary
Brightened light emerges, strong inside and no longer outside weak
