Rosebush Without A Single Thorn

Why are the people of this country blinded by money, power, and fame

Why is just being yourself such a shame

Screwing over people you know just to get ahead

Shouldn't we be caring more about love instead

I mean America is spiraling down at an alarming rate

It's gonna be very soon and we will all meet our fate

Does it not bother you every other country out there is passing us in every aspect

A corrupt society will crumble, what did you all expect

Mark my words our Nation will fall in my life time

We will also never ever again see peacetime

We got ourselves into this mess

One step forward ten back, WE ARE NOT MAKING ANY FREAKING PROGRESS

But no matter how loud I speak it will fall on deaf ears

Think to yourself, whats a few of your biggest fears

You let soldiers fight battles while you sit up all nice and calm

But our fight is with ourselves not with Islam

So you should be fighting yourself to do whats right

As Americans I just think we all just lost sight

I don't know when it happened, it must have been before I was born

I think we were all born with rosebushes inside us but America as a whole didn't grow a single thorn

The thorn tells us when we do something wrong

Keeps us on the right path, healthy, strong

Yeah we lost that a long time ago

Lost the thorns but grew an ego
