Free At Last
I sit up in bed
Feet flat on the floor
Reach over and grab a cup of tea off the nightstand
Offer her a drink first because I'm always nice
Hand it to her and turn away
Eyes change tomysterious with crooked grin
Began to cough, eyes wide with fear and holding her throat
Deed is done now I can finally sleep peacefully
