Go to sleep my little child

Poetry By: Bobby Evans

A scary nursery rhyme to keep the kiddies asleep.. Or scare the hell out of them.. I just took all the little fears we had as a child and made it into my own little Nursery rhyme.. I just wanted to show homage to the old original nursery rhyme..

Go To Sleep My Little Child

Go to sleep my little child before the moon is just right

For thats when things go bump in the night

Early to sleep, early to rise

For children who stay up late will meet their demise

The boogeyman will come after children that stay awake

Carve you up real nice, turn you into a giant steak

Ghosts floating around the rooms looking for children's eyes

For if its to late your parents can't hear your cries

Monsters under the bed will sit and wait

If you get off your bed you will meet your fate

Go to sleep my little child before the moon is just right

Cause if your sound asleep the bed bugs wont bite

For times that you wake before first light

Just go back to sleep to survive the night

I hope you heed my warnings because the night is wild

Off to bed you go, I hope your still here in the morning my child
