It Still Blows My Mind
It still baffles me how I survived the last twenty five years
How was able to face my biggest fears
How I remembered to eat and drink
How I stay afloat and didn't sink
How I wondered this land and didn't get to terribly lost
How I didn't just pay that ultimate cost
It still blows me away how I managed to breath
How I managed to brush my teeth
How I managed to tie my shoe
How I managed to tell the difference in the colors red and blue
How I managed to spell
How I managed to check the mail
How I managed to walk
And how I managed to even talk
Over the last twenty five years I've made personal ground breaking discoveries
How I've gotten sick and made fast recoveries
How I slept through the night
How I got dressed without putting my belt on to tight
It still blows my mind that there was simple things I was able to do
I honestly don't know how I survived this long without you
