One day this girl came into my life

I had no clue she would become my wife

I knew the day I met her my world would never be the same

We experimented with how Valerie sounded with my last name

My family told me I was a different man

She was the one to blame, my number one fan

Looking up at me with eyes filled with love

The perfect fit like a broke in baseball glove

You have no clue how much you mean to me

My heart was locked and she had the key

I don't know what I would do without her in my life

She melts my heart like butter touched with a hot knife

The Anchor to my ship

The cat to my catnip

The honey to my Pooh Bear

The funnel cake to my fair

This woman stole my heart

Now we have to be thousands of miles apart

Loving each other the way lovers do

I know you will be there like the morning dew

Valerie I know this love is pure and true

I am amazingly happy, its because of you

If there is anything I want to accomplish in my life span

It's to be the perfect husband I know I can

You make me rise to any and every occasion

Living with you is a lifelong vacation

It's a trip to the most beautiful place

I don't have to look away from your face

People nowadays say marriage and love is overrated

But our thing we have should be paraded

I want to show the world that love is not dead

I hope to inspire everyone with this poem read

Love is not a struggle when I have you

In this life there is so much I wanna do

I want to make you the mother of my children

If you want we can have one or we can have ten

I want to build you a a cute little home

With my bare hands make a farm for cows to roam

Have a red barn up the hill in the back

Help you with the groceries, you wont have to carry a sack

I want to grow with you as we get old

Cuddle on winter nights so you won't get cold

Get you soup when you feel icky or sick

Split the last slice of pizza, I cut it you pick

We argue just so we can make up

You don't need to do the dishes, Ill get the last cup

I promise to cherish you with all my heart

I promise we will never apart

You are the love I always dreamed

Nightmare before you it always seemed

It was a process to learn about relationships and life

This road was always leading for you to become my wife
