Omagh 98

Poetry By: boneman

A very short poem about the terorist atrocites in Northern Ireland, sadly this poem is just as relevent in todays world.

This is not meant to be a political poem in anyway just a forlorn cry for peace and tolerance on all sides of any conflict.

Omagh 1998

I heard the news on Sunday

From the BBC

I saw the film on Monday

Shown by the BBC

I listened to their rhetoric

Their colours orange and green

But I heard someone say

Their blood was always red.....
