I mean, everybody thinks about it at some point
To marry, to thrill, to love, to kill
You never see it coming, you only get to see it go
A first kiss, a first love, a first murder
Head hung from the heights and I sit and I birder
The delight, the rush, the touch
The caress of your blood on my hands
Sweat structuring my glands
I loved you, I pledged I did
But you fell and you weakened and you hid
I mean, what was I meant to do?
I'm not deranged – just insane
I prayed to God, assured in hell
Pay my dues and fall in a well
Devotion, I endured, all for you, darling
You left my fists in two great gnarling
You importuned, actually
And you make me smile
Au revoir, your in my heart
Death may never do us apart
