To give your love, there is something you need
A thing that comes from deep down within
For to give your love takes a special gift
Which to others, it may seem, a mortal sin
For the gift of love, is to love one’s self
With this one thought, you need to wrestle
If you don’t love yourself, you can’t give love
For you cannot pour from an empty vessel
