you left this Earth to go back home

and so tonight, we say "Goodnight"

We bring to you these little gifts

In between our endless cries

we bring to you a paper crane

so bring it, please, to up above

remember, inside there is a message

an open expression of our friendly love

you'll take this crane and bring it home

you'll hold it close, and as we cry

you'll read to us that little message

repeat to us, "Love Doesn't Die"

also to you, we bring a special rose

of a beautiful and violet shade

"for every rose, there is a thorn"

is what history would always say

but yours has zero of these thorns

because your beauty brought no pain

so take your open, loving arms

embrace the stars, and fly away

Beautiful poem, truly symbolic of Franco's memory, may we always remember him as the truly selfless, and amazing human being he truly was.
