Maybe (Maybe Not)

Poetry By: browneyedsoul511

Well, we've all been there. There are two choices, but with pros and cons, and you don't know what to do. All you know it's "maybe"; maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. It's frustrating isn't it?

Maybe it's what I should do;
maybe I belong with you.
Or maybe I should just wait,
and leave it all to fate.

Maybe I should make the leap;
maybe these doubts I shouldn't keep.
Or maybe such risk I shouldn't take,
'cause it's my future what's at stake.

Maybe I should leave it all behind;
maybe I just need to unwind.
Or maybe it's all in my head,
and I should leave it all unsaid.

Maybe I should just speak up;
maybe these lies I should stop.
Or maybe I'm just confused,
because my heart it's bruised.

Maybe I am just sick of confusion;
maybe I should just quit this illusion.
Or maybe I should be with my baby,
but all I have now are just torn maybes.
