When the rivers run and flood abalone streets,

When the ground shakes the cobwebs from the sea,

When the sky flies sadly falling winding down,

I'll dash across apocalyptic scenes,

To hold your shaking saddened hands,

My one and only, my one and only love.

-

When your friendships sink and then leave you weak,

When the air seems near impossible to breathe,

When the fires melt the morning desert sands,

I'll find a way to where your lovers leaped,

To hold your honey sunny heartbeat mind,

My one and only, my one and only love.

-

When your fears worm in your beauties buried deep,

When your storm clouds blow away such little peace,

When there's nothing but illusions on the ground,

I'll paint color in the grey the day we meet,

To unfold the golden treasures that I find,

My one and only, my one and only love.

-

And if I falter, circles furrow, crumble deep,

If I scream left drawing shadows in between,

If I walk the weary ways of harried hope,

I'll need your voice to shimmer so I see,

I'll need your face to sigh in the silky seas,

Of my one and only, my one and only love.
